Vocal Concert

Monday’s Vocal Concert was another success and contained lots of the usual variety.  Charlie Woolfenden sang ‘I’m Late from Alice in Wonderland’ with lots of character, Daisy Vincent sang ‘A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes beautifully’ and Angus Lowrie made a fantastic solo debut with ‘Spring Song’.

There were more fabulous performances from the year fours, fives and sixes including Max Walker singing the hit song ‘Mein Vater war ein Wandersmann’. The Elstree Chamber Choir sang ‘Light of the World’ by John Dankworth in preparation for their Elstree Spring Concert debut next Tuesday.

The programme ended with Tom Houston performing ‘Gnarls Barkley’s Crazy’ and the return of band Electric Shock performing ‘Lips Are Movin’ with the addition of Jago Dale-Jones on drums. It was an enjoyable lunchtime concert for performers and audience alike.
