Bradfield Demosthenes

After a short journey on the bus to Bradfield College, we ate our snacks.  We then went into the Hall to compete in the Bradfield Demosthenes Public Speaking Competition.  After a couple of excellent talks about cloning, aliens and smart pets, we were called to the stage.  Ollie and I were talking about ‘A Life Without School’.  I was the teacher and Ollie was the pupil.  After a short break in which we ate some sandwiches (which were very good!) we listened to our comrades.  Fergus and Max were speaking about ‘The Terrible Truth About Computers’.  Fergus was the father and Max was the son.  They were very funny!  The prizes were all handed out and we headed back to school.  We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
