Year 7 Informal Concert

The audience composed mainly of peers and teachers really enjoyed this tranquil half hour of music provided by the talented Year 7s a few days after returning to school from the half-term holiday.

On the piano we had gentle Chinese music from Chenyu, the gritty “Another one bites the dust” from George, an exciting Aria from Jack and a soothing Chopin prelude from Henry.

Interspersed with these we heard a delightful debut from Nobel accompanying himself singing on the ukulele, a rousing drum solo from Jerry, a wonderfully quirky Bird-catchers song from Timothy on the bassoon, another debut from Danny on the guitar, a wistful song from Ben and the ever-popular Over the rainbow theme performed on the saxophone by Lachy.

Well done to the boys for their entertaining and confident performances.
