Year 7 French Trip
The Year 7 French trip was an amazing trip. Everyone had a wonderful time visiting interesting places, doing fun things and of course learning French. My personal favourite places were the battle of the Somme Museum and the trenches. Our nice tour guide François took us to many different sites. He also served us delicious meals and was very kind to us all.
On the first day we went to the Nausica Aquarium where we saw lots of amazing sea life like sea lions, jelly fish and sharks. The second day we went to a market where we bought food to have with our baguettes. The day after we visited the historical Battle of the Somme Museum, The Canadian trenches, the bomb crater of Lochnagar, which was 30m deep and 100m wide, and the Thiepval Memorial. The fourth day we visited the town of Boulogne and we then went to the Opalaventure high ropes course which everyone loved. Then we went to a supermarket to buy lots of chocolate and sweets!
The final day we went to a snail farm and tried some.
