Rainbow Trust London Carol Concert

Twenty–eight excited choristers and six even more excited staff bundled into the coach at lunchtime and set off for St Paul’s, Knightsbridge to sing at the Rainbow Trust’s annual carol concert.

After an afternoon of rehearsing, we walked to the nearest Pizza Hut, past brightly decorated shop windows and dazzling lights (you can’t beat London at Christmas) to feast on pizza, ice-cream  and fizzy drinks. We sang to the restaurant staff as a  thank you for their patience and returned for the performance, battling our way through milling guests in the foyer who were busy with mulled wine and mince pies.

The choir sang its collective heart out and all performances were extremely well received. We enjoyed the celebrity readings and the chocolates given to us afterwards. It will certainly be a night to remember.

“We are hoping to hit the £30,000.00 mark this year, which would enable us to provide practical and emotional support to 17 families for an entire year, so thank you for generously donating your time to help us reach this total,” Anna Johnson, Events Executive at Rainbow Trust.
