Queen’s Birthday Celebrations

On Friday 10th June Home Farm was transformed into a Royal Bonanza. Every child and member of staff arrived amid a burst of red, white and blue. During the morning, time lines of Her Majesty’s life were created and magical crowns adorned with gems were made in every class. After a celebration lunch, which was enjoyed by all, the children had fun in the afternoon taking part in traditional games which included horse jumping, wellie throwing, apple bobbing, a treasure map and pin the tail on the corgi. To finish the afternoon off in style we all took part in country dancing and had a slice of an enormous Union Jack cake. It was a summer’s afternoon to treasure.
