Pre-Prep Easter bonnet parade

Many of the Pre-Prep took part in our annual Easter Bonnet Workshop after school last week with the aim of taking part in the Pre-Prep Easter Bonnet Parade at the end of the week. With the sun shining and a feeling of spring in the air, the children enjoyed crafting Easter bonnets with their parents, grandparents and teachers. Each classroom was a sea of colour and creativity. There were Easter Eggs a plenty being glued onto bonnets and chicks being positioned with precision. Due to the mild weather, Nursery enjoyed their bonnet making outside in the Early Years Garden.

Continuing the Easter celebrations, each child visited a cake sale before breaking up at lunchtime. Many thanks to all the parents and staff who baked treats for the children to buy. Snack time has never been quite so anticipated!

On the last day of term, the Pre-Prep children had the opportunity to show off their creations during our Easter Bonnet Parade. Many visitors congregated in the Pre-Prep playground and watched the children process. It was a wonderful way to end the term and to start the holidays with a smile.
