Oratory School Golf

On Tuesday June 11th Mr Williams and I took a team of 6 Elstree boys over to the Oratory School to play in their Prep School’s Golf Tournament. Our team consisted of Toby, Oliver, Francis , Harry , Ignacio  and Alex . There were 8 schools competing and after a delicious lunch we headed out to the course. The previous day’s rain had luckily disappeared, although it was still very breezy and several of the bunkers were under water and so unplayable. The Oratory 10 hole golf course was in excellent condition and is a challenging course for even experienced players. Our boys played magnificently, against some incredibly tough opposition, and both Mr Williams and myself were very impressed with the standard of the Elstree boys’ golf. Not only that, but they were excellent company and very good ambassadors for their school.

After the golf had finished we all retired in doors to the prize giving and a well deserved, and delicious tea. Elstree were awarded third place overall which we were delighted with and each boy received a medal for their achievements.

Well done to all six of the Elstree boys.
