Mothers’ Tennis Morning

On Monday 16th May tennis racquets were raised and trainers donned for the Mothers’ Tennis morning in order to raise extra funds for the Learning Development Department. This was kindly organised by Jayne Tomlinson and Olivia Inglis and for the second year running, the sun shone enabling all matches to be played without umbrellas or the addition of thermals. Fiona McAlister was presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers as our champion followed by a delicious lunch, enjoyed by all, seated on the terrace.

A tremendous £390 was raised and with this, we will continue to upgrade our testing material to ensure we have the most recent and accurate assessments. Thanks to you all, we have been able to instigate in-depth testing of students, which will continue to identify areas of difficulty delaying the need to refer some pupils to an Educational Psychologist early on. Thank you very much for your continued support.
