Life of Christ
Year 7 attended the production of The Life of Christ, enjoying the spectacular scenery and performances over the day. Down in leafy Surrey, a hundred people put together the story of Jesus’ life, from conception to ascension. The play ran over the main Acts in several locations – we followed the action from hillside to lake and back again. Animals joined the action and the boys got front row turf as we watched the turning of water into wine, crucifixion and resurrection, and feeding of the 5000, joyfully with plenty of fresh bread passed out! We enjoyed the horses, donkeys, fish and birds as the actors led us through the story and countryside. The play was hugely impressive, great educationally and a real treat for a day out.
