In memory of Charlie Waller at Bradfield College

Flickering candles, the most enormous twinkly Christmas tree, royalty and celebrity readers, and…our very own angelic-looking choristers.  What more could you want from a Christmas Carol Service?

Elstree and Bradfield Chapel Choirs joined forces on Tuesday night to sing for the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust Carol Service. Held in The Chapel at Bradfield College, it was a momentous occasion, never to be forgotten.

After the magical “Once in Royal”  opening solo from Francis, congregation and choirs came together to sing well-known favourites. The choirs performed both on their own and together, with the joint version of “O Holy Night” reducing many to tears.

“The Elstree Choir were brilliant. I think it was the best ever!” said Rachel Waller afterwards.

The Elstree choir certainly felt privileged to be invited to participate in such a worthwhile and memorable fundraising event.
