Gardening project for Elstree Award

As part of our Elstree Award project, we were sent out on the first visit to Mrs Fox’s garden. When we arrived, we could see the garden was not in the best condition and the main objective is to make her a garden that was safe for her dog and enjoyable for her. We split into teams, some separated the wood from the rubbish so that we could burn the wood and remove anything dangerous from the garden; others helped to start re-fence the garden and some cleared the overgrown flower garden. It was very good for our Elstree Award but most importantly, it felt really nice helping someone who needed it.
