Elstree’s annual cross-country competition
Elstree’s annual inter-house cross-competition went ahead this week, despite of wind and rain. Prep School pupils rose to the challenge in bubbles, armed with huge smiles and a positive spirit.
Cross-country report from Mr Schuman
Form Tutor and organiser of the race Mr Schuman said: “The boys and girls gave a wonderful performance in our annual house cross-country competition. All pupils ran and all pupils’ positions counted towards the final result.
The weather was very wet and blustery, but after three months of lockdown, everybody was ready to unleash their pent-up energy and run their hearts out.
There was plenty of mud along the course, plenty of undulations and beautiful scenery too. It was another very proud moment in Elstree’s cross-country history.”
