Fencing
Fencing is an increasingly popular sport at Elstree with over 30 pupils competing in foil, epee and sabre from Year 3 upwards.
Pupils are taken through the British Fencing Award Scheme and are given opportunities to compete against other schools and in National Competitions.
All pupils use the best Allstar equipment to train with in all 3 weapons and are coached by Colin Bell, who has represented GBR in the European Championships and Northern Ireland in the Commonwealth Games. He has produced several top British junior and European champions in recent years, in all weapons, with 8 of last years UK School Games fencers being under his charge.
