Elstree Summer Fete

On Saturday, the Friends of Elstree (ably assisted by the Year 8 boys) ran another hugely successful Summer Fete.  Stalls ranged from penalty shoot out, hit the wicket, apple bobbing, welly throwing, unlock the door, sumo wrestling and of course the ever popular staff in the stocks.  This year proceeds will go to two very worthy local charities, The John Simonds Trust at Rushall Farm and Swings and Smiles.  Both charities had been to speak to the boys in assembly this week about their work, so everyone had a clear understanding where the proceeds were going.  Thank you Friends of Elstree for organising another fantastic Summer Fete.
