Elstree Gift Fair
This year’s Gift Fair was a hive of eager shoppers. With 50 stalls spread throughout the Long Room, Dining Room and McMullen Hall, there were plenty of tempting gifts for everyone to buy – what a wonderful opportunity it was to get Christmas shopping started!
Thank you so much to all our stall holders for joining us and offering such a spectacular array of goodies, to our Elstree pupils for their beautiful singing and to the whole community who joined us to make it such a fun occasion. There were lots of happy shoppers, excited children, hampers galore and delicious refreshments such as hot chocolate and seasonal pumpkin biscuits baked by the talented Imogen’s Apron. This was all interspersed with some beautiful singing from the various Elstree School Choirs. The Year 7 boys and girls did a fantastic job of welcoming guests at the entrance and running the tombola, cake stall and sweet stall with incredible charm and efficiency. This will go towards the ‘charity and service’ section of their Silver Elstree Award.
We are delighted that the proceeds from the Gift Fair, a huge £3,048.50, will be used to support the wonderful charity, Daisy’s Dream.
Thanks to the Gift Fair Committee
A final thank you must go to the wonderful Gift Fair Committee: Millie Ridley-Day, Clare Pannell, Jane Bevan, Nicki Williams and Kate Turner. We are so grateful for all your hard work and meticulous organisation which ensured that the Gift Fair was such a huge success.
And a huge thank you to all our wonderful stall holders
