Elstree Eagles at Caldicott Premier League Cricket

What do you get if you have 6 or 7 all-rounder cricketers, five over innings, short boundaries and three trophies? Answer: the end of defensive cricket.

On Sunday 17th May, the Elstree Eagles 4ths played the Caldicott Premier League day to face the Caldicott Cavaliers, the Cheam Chargers, the Cothill  Corinthians, the Dragon Slayers and the Summer Fields Sabres. Fours and sixes every ball were the order of the day, and our own Arthur Davies made the top-batsman award with three retirements and 96 runs. It was fantastic fun and celebrated boys not playing 1st team sport – well done you Eagles!
