Elstree Community Walk for Wellbeing
It was wonderful to see so many children, staff, parents, visitors and dogs walking around the beautiful Elstree grounds in the sunshine this morning.
Thank you to everyone for all their support for this new addition to the calendar. Hopefully, everyone felt ready to start the week with some fresh Autumnal air and exercise.
The timing of this event was to tie in with the Charlie Waller Trust‘s ‘Virtual Walk for Wellbeing 2023‘ on the weekend of 8th/9th October. It would be lovely to hear of any families who are able to take part in this and raise money for this fantastic charity.
Mr Attwood set off from the front of school at 8.30am with most of the Prep School whilst Mrs Attwood and Year 8 collected the Pre-Prep to begin an alternative loop around the pitches.
A big thank you to our amazing Year 8s who walked with the Pre-Prep children. It was lovely to hear the animated chatter between the different year groups.
We had several different loops of the grounds simultaneously being followed with the sound of feet stomping through the colourful leaves and the happy chatter of children and adults.
