Dotty the Dragon visits Elstree

Children at Home Farm had been eagerly awaiting Friday 2nd May as Dotty the Dragon was due to arrive. The Blunderbus Theatre once again enthralled the audience with their delightful tale of the baby dragon, Dotty who inhabited the castle high on the hill overlooking the village. All of the villagers were terrified of the dragon with his booming voice and loud roar. Little did they know that there was a baby dragon who just wanted to make friends. With the help of some wonderful puppets, music and lots of audience participation we learned how Dotty became friends with the children of the village and even grumpy Mr Dragon realised that he did not need to be quite so fierce. We were joined by children from Woolhampton Primary, Boot Farm and Harriet’s House some of whom stayed for the day and participated in an afternoon of activities including craft, actors’ workshop and a story telling session.
