On the evening of Wednesday 21st January, the boarders celebrated Burns Night. They had a delicious traditional supper with a twist – Haggis Nachos, Steak Balmoral, and of course Neeps and Tatties. The dining room was traditionally decorated, and Mr Smith recited Robert Burns’ ‘Address to a Haggis.’
Following on from supper, Mr Smith played his bagpipes and it was time for Scottish reeling. Strip the Willow and Dashing White Sergeant were performed several times as the boys were so good at it! It was a very enjoyable evening.
