The boarders enjoyed an action packed weekend. On the Saturday evening, the Safari Supper took place which consisted of different courses and games in different homes. Starting at 5.45pm at the Owens’ home the boys then headed to Inglis’s and Attwood’s for the main course. The Champkins ran the Ice Cream Factory, before it was back inside to the Williams’s for after dinner mints. The marathon ended just after 9.15pm, when it was time for bed.
A Sunday morning lie-in followed by a big breakfast gave the boys sufficient energy to tackle the mountain-bike trails at Swinley Forest with Mr.Brown and Mr.Bell. The weather was perfect with damp trails, providing enough grip for the mountain bikes on the green and blue routes. These were completed successfully and were enjoyed by all in this busy spot. As darkness descended it was time to pack up and return to Elstree for a well-deserved rest.
