Bandanas for Brain Tumours

On Friday, 4th March Elstree took part in the national Bandanas for Brain Tumours day.  The Brain Tumours Charity is the UK’s largest charity of its kind and funds vital research to raise awareness and offer support.  We were privileged to welcome Clare Normand back to Elstree to talk to the boys about the work of the charity.  Her son Alec was a pupil at Elstree until he died of a brain tumour in 2008.  The boys entered into the spirit of the day and wore their bandanas with pride.  We were delighted to be able to support Bandanas for Brain Tumours, and to raise over £650 for this charity so close to Elstree’s heart.
