Head of Finance

Elstree School welcomes applications for the position of Head of Finance, which becomes available immediately following a review of the Finance department and the needs of the School.

Reporting directly to the Bursar, this pivotal role ensures the smooth and successful management of the School finances. The successful candidate will be an experienced and professional accountant, ideally part or fully qualified, or qualified by experience, who is able to lead and manage the small finance team. The successful candidate will have knowledge of the full range of financial functions, including budgeting, management accounts, statutory accounts, purchase and sales ledger work and financial regulation. Additional experience in payroll processing and charity legislation would be beneficial.
