A virtual visit to the Jewish Museum

Last Friday, Year 5 took a virtual visit to the Jewish Museum. In normal circumstances, they would be visiting the museum in London. However, with restrictions still in place, this was unfortunately not meant to be.

Cementing their knowledge at the Jewish Museum

The objective of the virtual tour was to cement Year 5’s knowledge of the objects used for Jewish worship. Judaism is one of the topics covered in Theology, Philosophy and Religion.

Form Tutor Miss Boyd said: “I was so impressed with Year 5! They showed an excellent understanding of the subject matter when answering questions at the end. The whole experience was great fun. It was a brilliant way to end the topic, as the Lent Term draws to an end.”

Academic studies at Elstree

Elstree offers a first-class, progressive education in preparation for Common Entrance or Entrance Scholarship to first choice senior schools.

Conscious that children develop at different rates – both academically and emotionally – class sizes are kept small (12 pupils per class). Those most academically able can be stretched, while those requiring extra care and attention, can be supported.
