2019 Year 7 trip to France
The 2019 French Trip saw our Year 7s experience a whistle-stop tour of everything France has to offer. The pupils practiced and developed their language skills on the beach, during meal-times, in the boulangerie, at the Nausicaa sea life centre, the market, celebrating Francis’s birthday, on the High Ropes course and throughout the cultural trips, while writing in their journals helped them to remember useful phrases, expand sentences and learn new vocabulary.
Having embraced the speaking and reading elements of French, their confidence grew considerably. The trip helped them to see the value of what and why they learn what they do in the classroom. Even during the rainy days, the pupils were well-mannered and great company. The Staff were extremely impressed with their enthusiasm, and agreed it was a pleasure to take them away.
