1st XI footballers a step closer to ISFA quarter finals

Thanks to the success of Friday’s game, our 1st XI footballers are now one step away from the quarter finals.

Besides an excellent season of normal school matches, the team have triumphed in the ISFA (Independent Schools Football Association) Cup. First, they won away at Newland House. Then, they beat Trinity 4-3 at home. Friday’s game – also at home – then saw them defeat Vinehall 4-0.

Now down to the last 16, if they secure a place in the quarter finals, it would equal Elstree’s best performance in the competition. The draw for the next round is this Friday, so fingers crossed.
