 It is vitally important that the next generation is able to care for the limited resources of the world. Through being an eco school, we aim to encourage the pupils to consider the ways in which we can save energy and care for all the species on the planet. We have a garden for growing vegetables, a compost bin for fruit peelings which is then used in the garden and we recycle the waste paper. We are currently aiming to achieve the silver award. The children put themselves forward to serve on the committee for a term and report back to the rest of the pupils on the initiatives being followed.
