| School Council |

The School Council offers the boys an opportunity to voice their opinions in various areas of school life. Each Form elects a Representative to attend the Council; this in itself is a good lesson in democracy at work. Boys are elected for the term meaning that several boys per Form will have the opportunity to exercise this responsibility. The Council meets two or three times a term under the Chairmanship of the Deputy Head. Other members of staff, the Bursar and Catering Manager for example, attend the meetings from time to time. The representatives take their role very seriously and are keen to make heard the views of their Form. Many of the more recent innovations that the school has implemented have come as a direct result of suggestions made at Council meetings. |
