In addition to a full and varied curriculum, Elstree pupils are offered a wide range of extra-curricular activities. One afternoon a week is devoted to hobbies and interests including chess, cookery, electronics, fishing, gardening, “Elstree Radio”, mechanics, modelling, journalism and photography, to name just a few. Pupils are able to make good use of the extensive grounds and facilities during their free time. Boarders can take advantage of a variety of clubs and hobbies after supper every day and, at Christmas time, a popular pastime is the dormitory decoration competition.
