This year, four boys have been entered for straight Music Awards at their chosen schools.  To date, all four who entred into the competition at their first choice schools have been successful.   We are so proud and delighted for them all that their hard work has been recognised and duly rewarded.  Max Benson 8DLB was the first to know, gaining a scholarship to Radley, offering piano, violin and voice.  Saturday's Open Morning  was then greeted by news of two further awards: Joe Maloney 8TDW to Harrow, offering piano, saxophone and voice, whilst Hugo Dwerryhouse 8JSB was awarded a choral exhibition.  Charlie Davison 8JSB who is an exciting jazz piano talent, was offered a Music Exhibition to Pangbourne.  The music scholars' concert the week before clearly paid off, allowing the boys to get out of the way any early signs of nerves and produce their best on the day of their scholarship performances.
