Home Farm Harvest Sale

A lovely, happy atmosphere permeated Home Farm as warm autumn sunshine bathed the Early Years Garden to make a wonderful setting for our annual Harvest Sale. There was a colourful array of fruit, vegetables, home-made jams and honey.  A plentiful supply of cookies and cakes added to the excitement of the children as they carefully chose their purchases.

Year 2 were eager to try their hand at running the stalls. Trying to calculate the correct change was quite tricky, particularly when several items were bought at once, however, it was all good practice for their maths and staff were on hand to assist when necessary.

The sale raised just over £160 for our chosen charity, the Sue Ryder Hospices and we are sure that our donation will be put to good use. Thank you to all of the Home Farm parents for their generous support of this event.
