Boarders’ Burns Night
The Boarders enjoyed a wonderful evening to celebrate Burns Night last night and our amazing catering team did a magnificent job introducing the boys to the joys of haggis, neeps and tatties! Cameron got the evening off to a cracking start, playing his pipes beautifully and with real feeling before Mr Smith addressed the haggis in an authentic Scots burr…!
We then all tucked into to a feast of nachos covered in haggis and with a cheesy jalapeno topping as a starter. For our main course we had Aberdeen Angus burgers, haggis, haggis croquettes, neeps and tatties (turnips and potatoes) and roasted vegetables. Delish!
After supper we all congregated in the Long Room for some Scottish reels, which we just about got the hang of!
